I've tried this tactic. They can't wrap their mind around the concept that THEY should wear goggles for protection.
So they always reply: "But YOU should wear a mask to protect me!"
You've got gaps around your mask.
"But YOU should wear a mask to protect me!"
Try the chain link fence analogy, or mosquitoes through a fishing net.
Someone did the actual maths too:
If the virus is a 1 inch marble, each mesh hole in the mask is a 17 foot ring.
Odd that all the 'scientists' who work with viruses wear hazmat suits.
