I’ve been fighting the schools, I had a hearing and I’m on a lawsuit. I also made almost see through masks for my kids but I also told them they could pull it down anytime they want. The younger kids are scared but my sophomore wears it under his nose. I took them to an antimask chiropractor who gave us an exemption. The school wouldn’t accept it, supposedly we should be able to get an exemption if it interferes with the learning process (it does). During my hearing the judge said mental health counts but I can only go to a medical doctor (psychiatrist) -who will prescribe something to keep them in line. So I changed pediatricians, one who is fighting for our kids, she has been threatened by her practice to not sign anymore exemptions but she referred me to an MD who has a more holistic approach and also does not deal with insurance companies. I got exemptions for all kids but my HS son because he wears it under his nose and I’m suing. My kids rolled into their schools mask free and we are encouraging other parents to join us. We have a lot of issues in our public school, parents and communities have become apathetic to what goes on with the BOE’s and while I agree I can homeschool, and will if they require masks in the fall. We have a really huge problem with all the other kids left in public schools growing up, running the country and voting. The whole last year was sprung on the parents and while it’s easy to say we just don’t care about our kids we all made the decisions we did because it was our only option or it is what we thought was best. Even if I homeschool I will forever do my research on who is being elected to these school boards. Whether you have kids or will have kids or nieces, nephews, grandkids, do just a little research and help get people in who will help teach the right principles and educate the next generation. That is one way to help our country moving forward.
Also homeschool anyway. The public schools were originally designed by Humanists who openly promoted their plans to replace family and church with government and state, replace religious morals with peer pressure and produce food workers to inevitably merge with communist regimes. I will have to create a post with all sources but do check out Horace Mann, John Dewey and the Humanist Manifesto.
With the entire institution designed toward the end of establishing "a new religion, with the state as it's true church, and education as its Messiah" how could it ever benefit any free people?
