For the same reasons that people protest against eating meat and for animal rights, while wearing leather belts and leather shoes. ?

The same people drive their car to attend a "Climate Change" protest against using oil or fossil fuels... not realizing that their car tires, rubber hoses, electrical wire coatings, plastic bumpers, fabric seats, etc... are all made from fossil fuels.

Basically, these people are stupid.
