So it just boggles my mind that so many idiots have fallen for the trap. SO dissappiointed in humanity. God help us all.

I expressed dismay recently that my children's immune systems are thus far likely underdeveloped due to the lack of human contact they've experienced. I told someone that I'd let a stranger sneeze in my mouth at this point because I just don't care anymore. That is, however, a gross exaggeration of what I am willing to do.
I've noticed myself becoming slightly more careless when it comes to cleanliness, just to ensure my immune system remains strong and able to fight off infection. Food falls on the floor? I'm no longer practicing a 5 second rule, now it's a 10 second rule. Walking down stairs? Hand on the railing all the way down just to expose my body. Automatic doors? Nah I'm going for the one I need to grab with my hand. I haven't been sick all year, never wear a mask, and didn't change anything in my life except for being a little more messy
I believe that's the Adam Carolla method. He even dropped an almond on a runway once and a crow picked it up in its mouth, dropped it back down, and Adam just ate it and went on his way. He routinely talks about how he's never sick.
I've had a phobia of germs since 8th grade, so I've been germ-avoidant, but I've actively worked to get better. Maybe one day I'll reach your level.
Yeah, I know the feeling.
I don’t love gross stuff or filth, but know we need reasonable exposure to our fellow humans for our health, both physical and mental.
