I don't celebrate new taxes. I don't care who it targets. And I don't like compartmentalized taxes, like property tax.

"Gas tax goes towards x"

"Property tax goes toward y"

Now property ownership doesn't exist in this country. Property tax was a sneaky way for the government to own your land. You pay off your home then lease it from the Gov through a property tax. If you don't pay, they take your home. None of it is OK

Agreed but this fee is something g non electric car taxpayers will fund if the owner is not directly charged.
