Could we leave the hood off, make it half legal. People need to see their punishment, their face if it’s hidden beneath a bag there’s no connection it’s just a “thing” dying. If they don’t see a person go lights out literally before them, they are doomed to repeat it... it’s how we got here in the first place. They (the left) took away public executions. And from that time (I think 1930s?) you can see a chart of crime that spikes like a rocket. Pre and post public executions there is a night and day difference.
