I liked Snowden at first but something also felt off about him. He was too big a Boy Scout. Actually Kavanaugh was like that too.

Yeah I can see that. Just a tough adjustment for me; I’d been a liberal non-Democrat for years, kinda a product of that whole Snowden/Greenwald/Chomsky/Jimmy Dore/Matt Taibbi/Cornel West etc wing. Not quite an adherent anymore (they have good points on foreign policy, just way too communistic domestically), but it’s a lot harder for me to believe that ppl like Snowden are knowingly cabal, whereas the rest of the lot I’ve never trusted anyway
