They aint perfect but they do well. Just remember this isn't the only board that exists. Don't let anybody gatekeep you from anything. That's what put us all to sleep in the first place.
CNN did a great job letting Hussein (the Saddam one ... The one less dangerous than the Barack one) know how far off his SCUD missiles were.
I'm not defending that war ... I'm just pointing out how concerned CNN has been about our troops over the years. The only time they seem to care about them is when they can be exploited for political purposes. Fucking deadbeats.
I hated this. People around me were so giddy. It was sickening. Having done a little research on HW (Bush), I knew that the whole thing was a made for TV stunt.
There is a longer version of this that shows the stage where the fake video is being shot, but it's a lot harder to find.
Scud missiles were a meme in the early 90s. That shit looks like an SNL skit.
That's exactly what I was thinking! I kept waiting for "LIVE from Riyadh! It's SATURDAY NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!" lol
Was Gonna say it looks like a PBS fundraiser.
No broad internet adoption, not mainstream ... too easy to manipulate the masses.

What's HW?
Sorry, George HW Bush.
Nobody watched CNN at the airport back in the early 1990s, unless the weather came on.
That was always a conversation starter.
