Well, they are asking for it, so they can. The question is, would it hold up in court?
This also doesn't address the concern of offering maskless privileges' for people willing to voluntarily offer that information just to get their o2 levels up. Friend at amazon is struggling with this and I told him to just printout a fake vax card. Think he would have done it if he isn't expecting to get laid off soon due to his boss being a fucking diversity hire who can't do her job well. Homie has been there so long when he told them he wanted to quit they offered him a $5 raise to stay. They didn't get him a diff boss tho because ya'know racism.
Its completely illegal for a company to gather your medical history without your consent.
But its completely legal if you "volunteer" it. You know like you either show proof of vaccination or you are not permitted on the property. If you don't wish to share your vaccinated status, you are free to leave and not come back. This is legal.
Also given the dems control everything.... They will write a new law or pass an emergency whatever to make it "legal for covid" because emergency.
inb4 blacks suffer the worst from this disease and can't afford/get id/are unable to get vaccinated and these policies are prejudicial against them.
I was just told about a Navy JAG lawyer who walks around with a notebook. He is constantly pulling it out and writing in it. His boss asked him if he was vaccinated yet. The lawyer pulled out the notebook and started writing. His boss asked him what he was doing. He was putting down the date, time, and person who just violated his HIPAA protections. He had pages and pages of violations. His boss stopped asking him.
This may work but the ADA is key here also, your vacc status is your medical condition and they can't discriminate against you for a medical condition.
You also can’t legeally steal an election but here we are.
Companies are saying to be maskless you have to provide proof of vaccination. How do you get around that?
they don't get to ask about your private medical status. if they insist either leave or if you're feeling spicy get their name, picture, video, tell them you will be calling the corporate HQ and maybe a lawyer.
Its called HIPPA and this is true they cannot demand to see your information. Yes you have the right to refuse to share it.
But they can accept if you voluntarily disclose your own medical information.
Thing is you will "voluntarily" show your "vaccine papers" If you refuse they will bar you entry and just trespass you instead. That is they will inform the police you are to never set foot on their property again. The manager at any location has the power to globally trespass you at any major chain. One done its for life or until the corporation decides to revoke it, its registered with your law enforcement, and it makes it a crime to ever visit their stores again.
And THEY are 100000% in their right to trespass you for anything imaginable except race, religion, or gender. Its private property your presence is at their pleasure.
And my business and money are at my pleasure as well as the ADA American with Disabilities Act.
If the last year has shown me anything is that corporations are happy to burn customers to keep pushing the fascist agenda. So they will tell you "Ok boomer" and not to let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Why? I think its not hard to to understand. To get anywhere other than mowing lawns in West Virginia, you have to be one of them and so the corporations are all stuffed with these fascists. Fascist ideals > profits I suppose....
But then you have to realize the OG fascists were SOCIALISTS, these ones are no different.
Maybe so, but then again money talks and bullshit walks. If enough of us "boomers"? How about AMERICANS instead? Decide to put our money where we want it rather than kowtow to tyrannical mandates, people will "see" the light of day. If not? Wuflu has caused MANY small businesses to go belly up. What's to say wuflu wont make this business do the same?
