I live in one of the bluest cities, in an allegedly blue state, around. I literally can't take it anymore. If I didn't have elderly people here to care for, I'd be out. It's like living with pod people.

Rural Oregon counties are beginning the process to join Idaho (Greater Idaho).
The remaining counties in Oregon would be the deep blue cities filled with liberals and supporting areas where they retire.
If this covid shot stuff goes down, there may not be enough liberals left to keep the state blue, so the whole thing might end up being moot anyway.
Thanks much appreciated encouragement!
Take the old folks and get out. Life is too short.
I live in the bluest of blues in the middle of the country. I’m getting my affairs in order and heading down south. I don’t have much, but I have faith whatever I find down there will offer more peace of mind than up here.
I’m sort of newly discovering faith, and since making this sort of switch it just seems…louder here. Dirtier. Angrier. And I can’t shake the feeling that, if I stay here, it’s going to do incredible damage to me.
I’d rather scrub dishes and live out of my car than cough up more of this city’s polluted air.
I hope things turn around for you. Stay strong.
Stay strong fren... I'm on the outskirts of a blue city in a Red state that has no mask mandates and I feel like I'm the only one not wearing a mask... either election integrity will be fixed so these commie fuckers can be voted out or the military will step in... we will win fren
I'm in a blue swinger, in 2016 I had left North Idaho ... would have almost been better to end up homeless there than employed here.
Keep up the good fight, we are the resistance behind enemy lines and remember, you aren't alone.
Thanks. I am very uplifted when I find a like minded person, and there are more than a few if I am honest. My husband's grammar school friends are 80/20 Trump/Biden. The Biden guys are deluded iron workers union for the most part. My extended family on my husband's side is pretty left leaning though. The vaccination apartheid is bumming me out but I am not going to be held hostage by it. I may not see my new nephew until he's 20 at this point, but this vaccination stuff is my hill to die on.
"Blue states literally don't exist, unless they did something we can praise them for."
Just like the "party switch" happened, unless a Democrat from the 1830's can be praised for being a socialist, suddenly "it's more complex than that"
Oh, you're from Chicago too? Wild, isn't it???
