I watched the video by the Australian X Factor winner about how Freemasonry is a cult of Satanism. It is a powerful, scary, and sobering video. Here is the link:

I'm wired a certain way such that logic and intellectualism challenge my faith in Jesus all the time. It is how God made me, and I often wonder and ask God why He wired me to have such doubts. Then I found this video and watched all of it (it is long). It offered a perspective that I had been yearning for and that met the challenge of my Doubting Thomas mind, all the while painting a dark picture of our culture.
In short, I firmly (intellectually, now, too) believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. I did before, but not like I do now. I would love to discuss the video with others, if you care to share your comments. If you start it, don't turn it off when you think he has gone off the deep end... because he almost instinctively comes back with another insight that is hard to dismiss. So for those of you wired like me, I urge you to watch it.
Ultimately, what he explains is something that ties it all together... everything that is going on. It fits well with the documentary series that that one woman is doing about the Khazarians, but this video brings it very close to home. Our Constitution and our love of Jesus Christ are interwined and are therefore under attack. Spread the word after you watch it. Thanks.
The short answer to your question is given by Albert Pike, former Grand Commander of North American Freemasonry:
"Freemasonry is identical to the Ancient Mysteries."
By Ancient Mysteries he is referring to the ancient Pagan Mystery Religion. It is a system based on Sun worship. That is also associated with "The Light Bearer," which is Lucifer, who is also known as Satan. So it goes back farther than recorded history, and probably to what is known as the Garden of Eden to believers. The Hebrew word "nacash" is used for the word serpent. It can also mean "the shining one," or in it's action form "to make witchcraft."
Sorry time doesn't allow the long version answer to your question. Just understand that when Christianity spread and was transformed into State Religions across the Globe, the practicing Satanists didn't evaporate. They just went under ground. It rears it's ugly head and pops up in hundreds of different organizations and forms throughout history. Freemasonry is one of the more prominent, visible ones.
