My oldest son was in the Navy under Bush when they went to Bahrain, he told me they had soda pop with the old pull top tabs, plus the fact he was on a ship built in 1967 yeah before President Trump came into office it was sad what our military worked with.
Now that makes sense. Isrealis fought Pz IV in the '48 war. German armor has been used in a few places since WW2. The USA had to find something to do with all that stuff, as well as dumping it in the ocean.
...and a change in the sea (symbolic term representing MANY people)... and from now on there's gonna be some changes in me... - Ray Charles (even a blind man can see)
you triggered me in a GOOD way... THANKS for this!
While I think it’s most likely those guardsmen are getting ready to deploy and might have still been stateside when the picture was taken, the Iraqi military was definitely still using Sherman’s during the Iran-Iraq war... if they used them when they invaded Kuwait and the Kuwaiti’s disabled one, keeping it as a museum piece on display wouldn’t be unheard of.
I do believe its an m4a3 105 or m4 105, and a number of countries that still use old tanks are around, a quick search says that 130 t-34 were still in service in 2018, i wouldn't be surprised if such a mass produced tank was still being use SOMEWHERE
Isn't it a little ironic that our "National Guard" is stationed in Kuwait? I know it's common for them to be deployed, but it seems they should be focused on defending our borders and national monuments instead.
I like Mike! ? I want a MyPillow American Flag to prop up my weary head too!! ?
Sweet I got the same one on my couch. The best design!!
So our guys have to fight with Sherman tanks 'cause of budget cuts. Sigh.
Those weren't even all that good in the last war...

I should add W.

Hot DAMN, I love me some US Military! MAD respect, service members! Prayers for ALL who have served and who are serving. And TANK Q MIKE LINDELL!
Buy a pillow and send it to your closest Biden supporting family and friends.
they seriously using a sherman over there? not going to lie thats pretty cringe
It's got to be some sort of museum or something
why would there be a tank museum with a sherman in kuwait in the middle east, unless they are visiting the states or somewhere in the eu

now that's a missing piece of history i didn't know that explains its possible history of being there, great explanation
I just don't think M4 Sherman tanks are in service anymore. They were being phased out in 1945 by Pershing.

Lol good thing it’s a movie?
Why is the Minnesota National Guard in Kuwait? Shouldn't they be located more nationally?

There is a very creepy video posted by Mr. Pool showing an aerial view of a portion of Kuwait.
I have that exact same pillowcase for my little "travel" My Pillow!!
