Interesting article. Recommended to read carefully and recognize what currency is.

A. USD = currency, but has a couple of use cases. B. Crypto = depends.

B.1. Stable coin: depending on the underlying asset. If currency is the underlying asset, it is NOT a stable coin, merely a substitute for the currency or rather a contemporaneous coin equal to regional money.

B.2.Stable coin II: If the underlying asset is 100% reserve in terms of Gold/ Silver/ other PM, that is a stable coin. See Perth Mint stable coin.

B.3. Other alt coins: depends on traffic of the platform.

C. Exchanges. Are they banked or not. If banked, with what? See B.
