It dominated the news cycle for a bit to make him look like a loose Cannon stomping all over diplomatic procedure etc. Same way taunting Kim Jong Un looked insane to normies who don't understand NK is just a cia black site used as controlled opposition to push FUD on normies when their outrage of the week starts losing steam.
