The BBC were the very first to lie about Diana in that tunnel on the morning of Sunday 31 August 1997. Why William, head of SERCO wants to pretend now there's some sort of 'scandal' is anyone's guess.
And lie they did, specially about the paparazzi causing the accident. Apparently they entered the tunnel long after the accident. And why did it take so long to get her to hospital? According to many sources, she could have been saved. Maybe she went into hiding like JFK Jr...
France has ambulances that can provide advanced trauma services on the scene. I think I read that she spent about an hour in that mobile trauma unit before being transported. They do a good bit more than just stabilize the patient.
What I read about her heart... it was a devastating injury. An aortic dissection. They probably wouldn’t have saved her.
