We serve a purpose, I think women have a role just not the roles they are trying to take. I was an MP (female), mostly males and a couple females in my unit. Not the best environment and really stupid. We would do FTX and they would have to take us back after so many days to shower but not the men because hygiene health is more important for women. I was deployed to Bosnia twice. We did patrols and of course following the war the country was littered with land mines. Hours on patrol it’s not uncommon to have to pee. No places to go, unlike the guys we couldn’t pee in a bottle. Can’t go behind a bush, you might blow up, so you can hold it or squat between the Humvee’s in broad daylight with civilians walking down the street. Needless to say the first option was the most comfortable of the 2 but women wound up with a lot of UTI’s. Combat is not ideal in my opinion I was a 60 gunner and it was pretty cool as I was the first in the country, but being a middle aged mom I have a lot more perspective.
Yes, there are definitely areas in the military that women excel in and contribute wonderfully to the mission. I do feel that combat roles, special forces roles etc...are not for women. Men are better suited for those areas...and that's OK.
Your old job does sound cool(yet dangerous) though I admit!
I agree, and don’t necessarily think women should be MP’s down range. My job was peace time but I know during the war they went a long time without showers. Unfortunately for women we can get sick easier from not being clean. We are needed but not in combat I don’t agree just from experience and having a daughter myself now. It was an adventure for sure.
They have no place on the firing line unless it's endgame and that's all there is. They have plenty of use in the fight though. Inspiration primarily. Women near the front is one way to get men to fight to the death. Tons of admin work to do to keep logistics on track. There are plenty of other reasons and uses you can think of I'm sure.
As a woman vet, I, for the most part agree.

Very limited place, but they do have a place. Certainly not in combat arms and special forces like these wokester jokesters have pushed.
I don't think they should be cops or fire fighters, either.

Or politics.
