So we need to accept this back stabbing behavior from Congress because it's essential?

Im sorry but I just don't buy that reasoning. I view it as toxic.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Say we did need a backstabber to execute the plan:

We got Mike Pence. I think he's a better backstabber than any of us anticipated.
