Im here in oregon and on June 7th my work will allow vaccinated people to no longer wear masks.
? These people are sick! ?
Ive been on dailyclout.io looking at bills any help is appreciated. I wanted to know if i have a case. for discrimination.
I was escorted off my work's property today, they sent me home for not wearing a mask while vaccinated coworkers got to go maskless. Green sticker on badge to show they're vaccinated. Washington state here. I told them it's discrimination, and it is of course. xchainlinkx is right, I immediately submitted American Frontline Doctors question page for a lawyer response.They emailed me right away they'll get back within the week, and thanks for standing up for my civil liberties. Your post was my day, and the reply here was my response.. funny how things come together, this shows how widespread this is. Work gave me the rest of the week unpaid to think about my decision, so not terminated officially yet - but I told them twice I wasn't changing my moral stance. So, waiting on that lawyer response to see if I have a case here.
Flip the script, Fren. Now it's you who should make them think about their decision. Use every legal tool at your disposal. I guarantee you there are others there that don't want the vax. They are in the same boat. Best analogy I can think of at the moment is be the splinter. They see you as a tiny problem, easy to get rid of. But you have the power through lawsuits to give them a problem far worse than the splinter. You have the law on your side. The shot is experimental and my understanding is the law is clear about experimental drugs. They cannot coerce or discriminate against you for not wanting to be a guinea pig. Your splinter can turn into an infection for them. That infection being other employees that follow your lead and sue. The PR is bad for them and my guess is when confronted with a sharp attorney who knows labor law, they would be put in a bad position.
They think that vaccination makes the workplace more healthy. A lot of doctors and health professionals are starting to see the opposite. There might be an OSHA issue involved. The last thing your company would want is a bunch of OSHA people looking around for violations. But you should not hesitate in seeking out a really good labor lawyer. They would probably take the case on contingency, meaning you don't pay unless you win the case. A case of bullying, coercion, loss of job, anxiety and depression caused by them, etc.etc. could mean a big payday if they fire you under these circumstances. Don't lose hope. Find a specialist in labor law that is hungry and has a great track record.
Agree with this 100% +++
It is scary the first time you have to take legal action and sue a person or a business. There is NOTHING to be afraid of. Not all lawyers will want to take your case. That is completely OK. Better you find one that agrees with you 100%. I myself would START it out Pro Se (without a lawyer). Most people would not even think of it ... but that is guaranteed way of getting your employers attention. Then, once filed, if you feel it's too much, find an attorney then. THAT is likely what I would do if I was in your situation.
No matter WHAT you guys do ... for the love of God DO SOMETHING!!!! Don't take this shit. Beating those fucks is going to be easy as hell. There is a MOUNTAIN of scientific proof 1. Masks DO NOT WORK, and 2. The SHOT can be Deadly ... and very probably cause injury (VAERS DB).
File a complaint in court, include published studies as proof, ask for back pay as damages, and MILLIONS as punitive. Watch how fast they change their fucking tune.
