Did you see that photo of Normandy that went viral recently? It was incredible. An artist had volunteers take a life size stencil of a body and rake that into the sand all over the beach in a matter of hours. They had to finish it before the tide came in. The artist then took an aerial shot of the beach showing what it would have looked like and there were bodies as far as the eye could see. It was sobering to see and to know that each of those stencils in the sand represented an actual soldier that gave their life for us.
They were both very proud of their service. Maybe in the future we will see young people learning just how special this country is and how it is worth fighting for!
Thanks for posting the reminder:)
May God bless all of the men and women who have and continue to sacrifice their lives for us and this country and may he bless the families who have sacrificed so much.
It’s been a long time since any fight has been responsible fir maintaining our freedom. World War II was the last time.
Since then, there has not been a single war that had fuck-all to do with maintaining our freedom.
Real talk. I respect the sacrifice but it has led to unnecessary suffering and consolidating power for corrupt generals, defense contractors, and misanthropic oligarchs.
These are Real Men!

I did see that. And sobering is the exact word for it.
You’re a true Patriot fren. Salute!
NEVER FORGET and let's make this country what all those men already believed it was. The land we know to be.
My grandfather and father were both veterans-between them WWI, WWII and the Korean War so I never forget!

Me either every time I visit Ft. Logan.
It truly is, and Denver will be even more so again. Thank you for the post.

Once men hit 18, they become waterproof.
