That is why the Left is against school choice-charter schools, private schools. They lose control on what is being taught. Get back to basics: reading, writing, arithmetic. Focus on math and science. Employ a vocational path in high schools involving welding, basic IT, coding for Health Care, Nursing Assistant/LPN jobs, Food Services, Secretarial/receptionist services, plumbing, heating/cooling, landscaping, construction. Start in 9th grade, with internships the senior year. Then when graduating there will be decent paying jobs without the need for college, plus these students will be able to slide into jobs as people retire. Colleges have a lot of unnecessary courses, unrelated to your major, just to provide jobs to liberal professors.
