Is this a marker? Not to date fag but we should be getting close if they start putting people in place to take away the 2A.
This is what it's like here in UK. Default position is no guns for anyone. You can fairly easily a certificate to own a 2-shot shotgun if you can say you have a good reason such as clay pigeon. Much harder to get (I've been waiting 2 years) is a certificate for rifle and when/if you do get one it's for semi auto small bore, or if you are lucky bolt action manual full bore. Any kind of pistol just forget it.
That's where they want to take you in the US.
