Makes sense, as the insurance company might be ruling these as 'Suicides'

If you WILLINGLY and KNOWINGLY take an experimental drug (doesnt matter if its a street drug or big pharma) that is NOT approved for human consumption by the FDA and the drug can cause you to die, and you DO die, then you are KNOWINGLY commiting suicide.

IDK maybe thats their logic. Suicides cant collect life insurance.
