Your friend needs to get to vounty welfare. Also look for a program called Hill. Burton. It was used to oay fof my friends hernia a few years back. Usually the hospital can direct you to a funding for your hernia. County assistance as well Hernias strangulated. Get taken care of Health first debt second.

My friend lives in PA. He was working with a hospital for assistance, but he just got the run-around. Plus crap about corona being the excuse for ignoring him. I'll tell him about the Hill-Burton program. I've never heard of it. https://www.hhs.gov/civil-rights/for-individuals/hill-burton/index.html
