As far as porn specifically, I spent too many years working in the photo industry. You can only see so much skin from the result of the general public's bedroom shenanigans before you eventually just don't care for naked people at all. Most people I know are icky and ugly in their birthday suits, and I know the adult actors are just in good lighting and airbrushed. Their then down and scrub of the makeup and put them in good lighting, and they're just as gross as the rest of humanity.
