Take this into consideration. How many stories have people relayed on this board about how difficult it is to redpill their relatives, friends, or coworkers. The process takes months, and sometimes longer with people that are very intelligent.
So you're going to tell me that this woman saw the difference and flipped from lefty to conservative completely overnight -- that simply does not happen. People that change that fast are either a.) very stupid and easily influenced b.) want to be liked and appreciated, so they change to appease others c.) they change b/c there is an opportunity of some sort that will benefit them. Sorry if it offends, but she is a grifter, yes she says all the right things mostly, she is involved with the right people, but doesn't the rate at which all of that happened seem to be a little too quick?
Change takes time, unless you have a Jesus meeting Paul on the road to Damascus experience, people do not change that rapidly. Comprehension, understanding why there is the need to change, letting go of reasons why not to change, social pressure from others to not change, all play roles in the process. For example, when new people come to church and they are just on fire for the Lord, I tend to question the situation. Those people NEVER stick around, they never really understood why they are there, and usually stop attending or fade away in 3-4 months time, it is a 100% track record that I have seen. On the other hand, the people that ask questions, have difficulty with topics that hit home, that read and talk with others, these people that endure until they understand become solid believers. They took the time to overcome themselves, they took to the time to weigh the difference in belief or not believing.
A person that flips that fast is someone people should keep an eye on, not raise them on a pedestal and through accolades at them.

I used that for the sole example of one lefty recognizing another, that's all.
