The truth looks like the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology due to a lab accident.
General Milley told Fox News he was concerned about the Communist Chinese covering up the truth about the coronavirus’s origins.
“What I said a year ago, it’s still true today. It’s inconclusive, we don’t know,” Milley told Fox. “Once this virus started appearing, there seems to have been a fair amount of activity or cover-up or lack of transparency, probably the best way to put it, and all of that is disturbing. So we need to get to the bottom of it. That’s clear.”
The lab leak theory is becoming a political headache for the administration.
CNN revealed that Joe Biden shut down a state department investigation into the lab leak theory.
Once that news broke, Biden reversed course and demanded the intelligence community produce a report on the lab leak theory by the end of August.
Critics suspect Biden isn’t much interested in the origins of the coronavirus because he has no plans to try and punish Communist China for unleashing the virus.
And in a recent press briefing Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to commit to Biden holding the Communist China accountable if it was proven the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“Would the president seek to punish China?” Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked.
“We’re not going to go there just yet,” Jean-Pierre replied, “We have to go through the 90-day review. And once we have the 90-day review, will we be able to reassess.”
Critics suspect Biden wants to let China off easy on the coronavirus because he wants to cut a deal with them on a globalist so-called “climate change” agreement.
To many Americans, that is an even bigger slap in the face.
