Because we didn't do any animal testing, nor did we conduct responsible human trial before rolling this thing out. Our bad.

Well they did do animal testing it just killed them all... so they started giving it to people instead.

Right. But there was no animal study, as in a finished report of results. The testing was just swept under the rug, and then they asked for human volunteers (who are not aware that they are volunteers).
