Have you ever been there? It's densely packed. Like many many many many times more dense than most any place in the US.
Social distancing would be literally impossible in most places.
Yet they managed to have low rates. Did they do testing? Was it just political?
I promise you it wasn't the masks. That's not even how masks work.
Yes, I have. They have been fanatic about testing, and their death rates vs expected death rates line up. The only difference between them and us is that they wore masks almost religiously.
How about Taiwan? They barely tested anyone, but were the model of covid response, supposedly. Also densely packed like Japan.
Suddenly there's a problem now and everything is locked down. People wore masks.
The government now fines you for setting foot outside without a mask.
You don't know how many they had, obviously. The CDC has been REPEATEDLY ADMITTING the ACTUAL COVID CASES are VERY VERY LOW in number.
They also cannot hide that in the last week of May last year, nearly EVERY SINGLE FLU *AND PNEUMONIA CASE in the United States VANISHED.

Two days later, EVERY SINGLE FLU-PNEUMONIA case in the US with execption of about 3%, BECAME COVID.
