What if whitehats had infiltrated wuhan?

What if destroying the original virus would just activate a plan-B from a different lab that they hadn't infiltrated?

What if they replaced the original virus with one they had tweaked to be as harmless as possible(not affecting kids is a dead giveaway...) because destroying it wasn't an option?

Interesting what-ifs.... but just looking at the world around us the weapon looks more like the narrative and societal control than the "pandemic ".
