Trump ordered the China travel ban on January 20 and they never stopped letting him know it was a bad idea and racist. Very, very telling that NIH was funding their own clinical vaccine research. This would have been funded by the companies looking to get their vaccines approved (who had plenty of money), not the NIH. Contrary to what most people think, the NIH does not develop drugs for approval.
Well, apparently, when you wife (Christine Grant) is head of Bio Ethics at NIH, and you've had her changed all ethical rules of conflict of interest and bioethics (Hint: there no longer are any by real ethics rules), you can become virus creator and healer for profit.
