Thank you for providing that. It seems odd that Trump would start making releases to the media when he usually bypasses them and speaks directly to the people.

It hasn't been verified yet as far as I can tell. Source is either omitted or they say Trump emailed the media, so we are supposed to take their word for it I guess.
