My reply to Illustrious-Ruin-349 because i know you are reading this over at reddit
Here's what he said:
"It's basically a mix of flatearthers and people going on about ivermectin/the supposed suppressing of fringe doctors/scientists(Cahill, Bridle stc)"
My response:
So do you not see the point of the meme? Banning these doctors from social media and suppressing them? Calling them fringe. You know who that reminds me of? Galileo... you are proving my point.
As for the flat earth debate, i personally do not believe in flat earth, however it appears some people on this board do, since i practice what i preach, i'm not going to downvote or ridicule them like you closed minded sheep at reddit. I will carefully examine any evidence they may have, weigh the probability and if they can convince me then i will stand with them though personally i severely doubt it. It's called tegridy, and open-mindedness, something you sheep do not possess. think for yourselves don't follow what the government and media tell you! that's the same as believing the catholic church in Galileo's time all you guys got is appealing to authority it's weak and a fallacy
"I mean, you can see a crucifix in the upper left corner of the painting... even if you don't know anything about history, you should notice those weird clothes the scientists are wearing..."
My response: This isn't about believing in Christ. You miss the point of the meme. If you didn't know at the time Religion was considered proven science by them, i know hard to look back at history you think scientists always wore lab coats. Point is they were the authority. My original argument in the meme has nothing to do with religion at all. The point is they had the authority at the time as "The trusted experts" anyone who disagreed was persecuted and silenced. Just as your media and big tech is doing to anyone who disagrees with what is "established" Can you not see my point? Or do you understand this meme's point of history repeating but don't want to admit that you're wrong on this one.
What he said:
"Nah, it's a "critique" of "the infaliability" of science, conveniently overlooking the fact that science is a recursive examination and elimination of possibilities, not a declaration of absolutism. The fact that science changes is proof that it works."
My response: exactly right on my argument at least you got that right, the part where you are wrong is suggesting that right now the "experts" could be just as wrong as the "experts" of Galileo's years I'm not anti science I'm anti dogma and the bastardization of science, science requires an open mind

What he said: " “Just trust the bible” was how it went; that is, if we are truthful instead of a lying POS."
My response: "Just trust Fauci and the experts" is how its going, same appeal to authority, both are wrong thats the point here. Where did I lie?
