I'm with you - if Trump's team knew the playbook, then they had no reason to be involved with the virus - except to make contingency plans to reduce the impact of it. And knowing the playbook, it was in their best interests to not "interfere' too much. It's better to deal with the event you know is coming, than to be taken completely by surprise by an enemy who would destroy the world out of spite. I would not be surprised to learn that the creators of the virus thought it would be more like the Spanish flu, and the US would be devastated by it, and quite vulnerable.
China doesn't care about their people, so anything is possible there. They could sacrifice a city without batting an eye. Also, Chinese people are not allowed to move freely around the country. They can move about the country, but their travel is very restricted. So it's pretty easy for them to isolate an area.
I have to admit... I fell for China's academy award winning performance. I was tracking it in late December and told my family about it... told them, "this is the one... just look how panicked China is."
Well, in early March I was then one of the earliest to say it was BS and I totally changed my tune. I did NOT like being duped.
The minute the press trashed Trump when he suggested the US was going to be open by Easter during that "15 days to slow the spread", I knew it was no longer a health issue and more of a world-wide scam to get Trump out of office.
They got what they wished for I guess :-) .... I cannot wait to see all of this blow up in their faces.
Same. Then trying to convince everyone that a) I was wrong so therefore b) You are wrong too. I felt like they'd just shredded my credibility at the most necessary time.
