Trump's Mar a Lago has been in Florida for a long time, and was known as the winter White House. I think this is just a happy convergence of interests but I could be wrong.

Oh there is something to it. Whether it is God's plan or Donald's hunch or what. IDK. Remember that Nixon said that Donald can go "all the way" back when he was alive & supposedly Donald made a promise to JFK Jr. back before his plane crashed.
