TAIWAN - I live in Taiwan. Since a couple weeks (17 May to be exact) Taiwan is under a renewed COVID scare. Before this date, life was affected like the rest of the world, but still kind of bearable. Why? Because new cases detected of deadly virus!!1!

New rules:

  • All schools closed
  • Children can't play outside
  • Face masks, all the time
  • Since 2 weeks, you now see people with face shields and protective glasses here and there
  • Companies divided workforce in shifts for redundancy
  • Plexiglass and plastic dividers installed in supermarkets etc.
  • Must 'sign in' when entering any business, centrally recorded
  • Adjusted open times for businesses
  • Entrances have a screening area, other entrances blocked off - PANDEMIC!

It is really, really crazy, because I see this thing winding down worldwide (or the US, it seems, where most people report in from), but now this small island nation in Asia is going 100% bonkers.

Thanks for this. I did consider attacks from China, I just didn't think they'd continue biological attacks, so there we have it.

If the hospitals don’t fill up, it isn’t happening.
