I will try to keep this as short as possible. I am legal guardian for my 30 year old son on the autism spectrum. His MD (huge city university based hospital) sent a note via mychart about getting the covid vaccine. i politely wrote her back stating that we have compiled hours of research in a 2 inch binder, and we have decided not to get the vaccines. I also mentioned that I hope that our decision did not impact her ability to care for my son in the future. She wrote me back today with information on how important the vaccines are and that we do not know the long term effects of the virus and that all alternative treatments are also "experimental." Then she closed with this: "I am concerned that you may not have the best research available. I continue to be happy to care for (Son's name), but I need you to know that I think this is not a good decision for his health."
I depend on this MD to support guardianship every 2 years. She has taken great care of my son, but I'm concerned that our decision will taint her view of us. I worked on a reply for about a half hour, and my husband finally came in and said to not reply because it will just become a back and forth battle. So I thanked her for her information and that was it.
I am absolutely not changing my mind about these stupid shots, but I feel so frustrated and a little bit hurt by her reply. We can switch doctors, but it's very hard to find a general MD that knows about autism. I guess that I just needed to vent among some like-minded people. Thank you for reading.
Ammunition.

Don't you love the snarky reply that she's afraid you don't have the best research? I bet yours is more honest and forthright than her's. There are SOOO many doctors like her that honestly believe what they say NOT because they have direct knowledge of the vaccine but because they read articles in their bibles of mediicne JAMA, NEJM and the LANCET. The "best research" as she puts it are the studies that shoot holes in HCQ and Ivermectin or anything else that's anti-narrative. Who are you to think you are reading quality material? Big pharma controls the journals, it controls the people who are designing the trials and the doctors running them. Big pharma donates spends big ad money to keep their names in front of the doctors. Give them free samples, free swag with their names on it.
Check out Dr. Pierre Kory, MD who is a major proponent for Ivermectin rather than the shot. He has testified in front of congress and did an interview recently with Bret Weinstein of Dark Horse. Do a quick search and you'll find them speaking about how unnecessary the vaccine is especially with drugs like HCQ and Ivermectin around. Show your doctor a few of the videos and get her reply.
Thanks. Glad I am not the only one who thought her comment was snarky. Trying to decide what direction to take.
Stall & delay. Truth is falling out pretty fast lately. Things could change 180 degrees at any moment.
I would contact Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at his organization.

He or his staff might have invaluable insight on how to proceed.
Thank you. This is a great idea!
A vaccine may have been the cause of your son's autism... no more vaccines... both of you have suffered enough
You didn't say where you are in your 2-year guardianship cycle, but if if you're early or only midway through that cycle, a lot could change by the time that event roles around again, changes that perhaps require this doctor to have a wholly different attitude about many things.
We are not quite midway through, so I am hoping she changes her stance.
We have a 22 yr old son with severe autism. No vaccines since 1.5 and not starting now. Stand strong patriot
Thank you. That is the plan! WWG1WGA!
Our dr diagnosed our son with neurotoxicity which is common to our children. Check into that as you don’t want to put any more heavy metals into his immune system as he has a preexisting condition. A good doctor would understand that medical exemption.
Put on your wasp hat (be ever so nice and respectful) and start quietly looking for a new doctor.
Your son has autism. He also has an immune system.
Your doctor's power over your family is more than it should be in the communist states of america.
Do not give in. Remind them that it isn't, by definition, a 'vaccine' but rather an experimental drug that alters the mRNA. No one will know what effects it has for another couple of years, that is reason enough NOT to take it. It is also not FDA approved and you will not allow your son to be injected with something that's not 'FDA approved'. News will eventually come out about it being a bioweapon manufactured in a lab which will shut everyone of these propagandists up. But if your doctor continues to be stubborn about it, then I'd suggest finding a new doctor.
Finding a doctor who understands how vaccines can and have contributed to, if not outright caused autism, may be better for your son in the long run. Yes it may be hard, but Trust that God can use this bump revelation for good. Shinning light into people’s true perspectives. I don’t trust anyone who would suggest the vaccine, my evidence supports they have likely done far less research and yet speak with far more authority. Like I bet your binder is far bigger than anything she could provide you to counter argue. May you be guided to the best choice in health care provider and blessed in whatever you both do.
We left our dentist this last month because I’m not having vaxXxed digging round in my face, no thank you. Admittedly I didn’t tell them that way, but we still Decided to leave. I have no idea if I can find what I need in a non vaxXxed dentist, but Lord willing all will work out.
Do not volunteer any information.
