This is why my daughter almost never leaves my side. If she does, she's with her adult brothers or her other adult family members.

And guess what? We ALL pack heat.

When my kids were little, I had them in the shopping cart RIGHT IN FRONT of what I was looking at. Not even 2-3 feet away. I told them I was sorry we were helicopter parents. They said they were glad.
