Yeah I think BTC was created by the govt like the tor network was. My only question with this story is what if the feds caught the actual people somehow and got them to hand over the key.
Seems like being able to trace the payment to a location and having complete, unknown access (key) to the account are two different things.
I created a throw away acct yrs ago for BTC forgot the password since there was 'only' 1.6 BTC left in it (~$4 at the time). Somewhere in the WWW there is an acct with my poor BTC sitting in it and likely not to be seen until a quantum computer steals it :(
