I would like tot see their pedigree.
However, since they are in the same pic at the same event, you would also need a time frame tot establish age.
But I would not at all be surprised if in deed there are family connections, and it is quite amazing.
Just know who Yaacov Appelbaum is. He worked with Snowden and Poitras & Co and journalist Glenn Greenwald ( grünewald, hirschfelt, rosenblum, etc, you know the drill) breaking the Snowden leaks.
And you are wondering how these people have met to work together on such sensitive material?
