More and more people in my deep blue state are going maskless. Our vax rate, according to the state gov, is approaching 60% "fully vaccinated" and according to our state mask mandate, only "Fully Vaccinated" people are allowed to go maskless. I think their numbers are BS. I'm using Walmart as my gauge. I estimate that between 10-20% or shoppers are mask zombie vs 80-90% being free-facers - except for the Walmart workers - they are about 90% mask wearers vs. 10% no-mask. Walmart allows their employees to go maskless if the employee can prove they've received their death-jab PLUS they even pay them a bonus for doing so. That being the case, why are so many of their employees still wearing masks? The easy answer is they have not been vaccinated. Why not - they can literally get the shot while they are on break at work and get paid to do so. I guess where I'm going with all of this is that I think the vaccine numbers are bullshit and that most of the people without a mask are not vaccinated. If my assumption is correct, and we don't see "over burdened health systems" and people dropping dead on the street, people are smart enough to figure out that all of this mask mandate crap was all a control mechanism. Add in all the recent revelations about COVID thanks to Fauci's emails and other sources (and more revelations to come, I'm sure) and I have faith that most people will not allow our government to push us back in that direction. All this adds up to "them" easing up before all the really damaging info comes out in an attempt to soften the blow-back that John Q is sure to want to deliver.
