Repost...but wanted to reply to you directly...
The AIDS probably was the reason for the cancer. A lot of transplant patients get immunosuppressive Drugs so they don’t reject the organ...but in a few years some do get things like kidney cancer Because the immune system is being suppressed.
Our immune systems are amazing and are constantly killing viruses , microbes, and cancer cells.
I worked w the doctor who did his kidney/panc Surg.
This! I work in oncology and a lot of HIV patients wind up getting some type of cancer as well as a host of other diseases/illnesses from their immune system being suppressed all the time to combat their HIV. It’s a never ending circle of diseases and drugs.
Yes…HIV could have been the reason why he got the cancer in the first place, I also heard from another doc at Stanford that it was actually pretty treatable cancer, but jobs decided to do juicing and cure himself with diet. Which didn’t work. And then it was too late to try traditional (chemo, etc )methods.
But I don’t think that doc knew about the HIV Pos status, I mean—I just found out this morning from mother post re wiki drop (that I guess is months no months old?) oh well..can’t read everything…

So, basically, the AIDS let the cancer happen, making the cause of death cancer?
