*Covid kills the old (and younger) with specific Health issues. Many others walked through it just fine, even at age 100 ffs.
It is one thing to die of actual natural causes, it is another thing to die of imposed ailments due to maltreatment.
It is NOT a given that the elderly OWE any sacrifice to youth. It is a CHOICE that any individual of any generation can make if they have faith that a given generation can productively carry on. It is always a CHOICE, not an expectation or rule. Especially now, in the century of the narcissist we are all in.
One could even argue that NONE of us deserve to exist and the earth should be repopulated by babies from incubators and replace us all. A goal I am sure someone is trying to achieve soon enough, based off current events.
The fact that so many middle aged and younger people think to devalue the life of an elderly person continues to make me pause on whether or not those "younger" are deserving of anything at all. That includes ANY aged person, not in an elderly state, that feels this way towards the elderly.
I for one see a series of failed generations who have left our elderly to rot into an unhealthy state, purely through indifference and neglect.
With NO outcry about the deplorable conditions that lead to their untimely "Covid" deaths.
Many "youthful" persons cavorting around appear healthy, when they are in fact a ticking time bomb of a multitude of health ailments in waiting, including mental health issues such as narcissism at an astounding level.
Shall we begin to assess everyone's genetic and mental value, of any age, to determine who is worthy and WHO shall be sacrificed... in the name of the "Greater Good"?
I see countless comments riddling ALL forums, including this one, that speak of how valuable the "youth", aged 65 and below, are. I have to wonder how valuable someone is when they are so willing to sacrifice their elderly on a whim. We haven't even reached detrimental levels in this grand experiment we are all in and the consensus is, the elderly need to go, for the betterment of the younger generations.
This is very much a Greatawakening Topic. It's time we all realized the devaluation of ALL LIFE, the unborn to the elderly, is very much part of THEIR plan.
Where we go one, we go ALL.

I was fortunate enough to live in Ottawa during my school years, and my wife and I lived in Calgary for 11 years.
I always ask people what they know about Asian cultures, and most people know jack squat. Living in these 2 cities allowed me to become actually educated on foreign ( to NA ) cultures and a BIG eye opener was the Asian view on senior citizens.
So in China and Japan there are no old folks homes. When you get to retirement age, you go live with your kids and their families. During cold and flu seasons, it is VERY common place for Asians to wear masks. They do this to protect their elderly. We saw this directly in Calgary during flu seasons and we were in Calgary during the SARS scare. EVERY Asian had masks on.
Now... we all know Asians live forever. We also know that HERE, in palliative care homes, folks who have regular visitors live longer that those that have no visitors.
All life is a gift and a fluke outside orbit chance that we're even here at all. Paying respect to your elders is a must. We have shit the bed on that one big time in Western culture.
Western Culture has allowed the family unit to become meaningless and in turn we wonder how our society became so self absorbed.

Lol, some did but most of that money was hijacked by Government, Health Care, other Agencies and a tax system that takes without providing any substantial services.
Most of the elderly got shafted like the rest of us.
Every generation has a certain number of "winners" to keep us all in line.
The only thing systemic in our system is that 90% of us end up losing in the long run.
We have a few generations at this very moment making horrible decisions that will have drastic consequences later on and it is lost on them that previous generations were duped as well.
Our predicament is a shared one. No generation lacks responsibility or fall out.

Social security / old age pension is pay per use. IE, you pay into it, you get it.
Might be different in the States, but in Canada, I, me only, get what I, me only, pay towards my OWN old age pension. In Canada, you don't pay for everyone's old age security pension, you pay for it yourself through your working life. You can pay more through your working life to have a bigger cheque every month once you retire as well.
This SHOULD be monies completely separate from other government funding social programs.
What you're talking about has nothing to do with the topic of our senior citizens. You're confusing old age security with actual 'social' programs like welfare.
You want to make up money?
Drug test EVERY person on welfare, and deny them if they fail. You'll save millions every year. Shouldn't be spending that on drugs anyway, right? It's certainly not THEIR money to do as they wish, it's tax payers money GIVEN to them by the government.
Gonna drug test folks to legally work and make your company millions, you can certainly drug test the free loaders and cut off the ones just milking the system.
