MOSTLY right, but no, DON'T ask your doctor. My wife and I met with her oncologist for a follow up consult (she's fine, clear scans after 2 years) and he asked if we had been vaccinated..... we both said nope, in a rather assertive way. He urged us, several times(!!), to get the vaccine... in fact, said if we can wait a few minutes longer, he could arrange it right there at the hospital. We politely declined.

He did ask us our reasons, and I gave him my reasons of experimental gene therapy, our healthy immune systems, how we hit the gym 5 days a week and eat right, don't smoke or drink alcohol, and the severe reactions people were having.... and it was if none of those things mattered. He even told us that hydroxcloroquine was USELESS in fighting covid.

Anyway, we continue to stand our ground and are still both healthy. So be very wary of doctors pushing the vaccines.
