OP never said he isn't actually the president. OP said that they are being given limited resources, presumably via the insurrection act or some other measure Trump and/or the military has in place.

Ok I misunderstood. One would think that undermines the authority of the U.S. in terms of security, unless that is being handled by some other entity of course
