Cyber Ninja has agreed to the DOJ request to not do canvassing. A local activist Liz Harris has a group of private citizens involved in the canvassing because they are not subject to the DOJ "rule". They've been canvassing for over a month now.

The sauce? Somewhere in GAW, but I couldn't find the exact post.
