The audits will show the public all the fraud that happened. The people need to be awake for the military to step in. That was the way. So while I think you're right, that the audits won't cause legislatures to overturn their electors, nor will Congress ever de-certify the election, it will cause people to realize how much fraud occurred and that it was enough to change the "results". Then the military can make their move without causing a civil war.
