Health Care is no longer a profession. It's an industry. Best thing you can do is eat right, exercise, get outside as much as possible, and stay the hell away from doctors and hospitals.
True. I'm a nurse and mostly work in long term care and home care, but one of the docs offices I worked in for a while had free lunches for the staff nearly every day. Supplied of course from Pharma reps.
Yes! When I interviewed for a nursing position at a doctors office that was actually one of their selling points. And this was a small town clinic with 1 Dr & 3 NPs in a population under 2000.
Yikes! The place where I worked (briefly) was a large cardiology practice and those reps were there every day, bringing lunch and God-knows-what for the docs. There was something online a few years ago which listed which medical practices took money or free vacations from the Pharma reps. It was a very long list.
