A fireworks display? Why would there be fireworks on June 15th? Do fireworks just spontaneously erupt on any random day now?
Or maybe June 15th a holiday of some sort, worthy of fireworks? Choose one:
Fly a Kite Day, Global Wind Day, Justice for Janitors Day, Magna Carta Day, National Cherry Tart Day, National Electricity Day, National Kiss a Wookiee Day, National Lobster Day, National Smile Power Day, Native American Citizenship Day, Nature Photography Day.
OK, maybe the "fireworks" was to celebrate Global Wind Day, where everyone on earth lights off their farts for a few HOURS... that could explain it.
apparently it was to celebrate the town hitting 70% vaxxed. Read the comments in the youtube link. Wouldn't surprise me if this was the case. We just got a whole whack of covid restrictions lifted in New Brunswick - full green , people are acting like it's Christmas, Canada Day and their birthday all in one.
That sounds like a weak-assed cover story. 1 1/2 ground shaking hours of 'BOOM" with no fireworks? Not buying that. But thanks for adding it - good to know their excuse. She also mentioned smoke?
if you listen to the video, those are explosions. Deeper and somewhat muffled (as if they were underground). Fireworks sound different, and the big thing is that fireworks are visible. They explode in the sky. If they are too far away to be visible, they are also too far away to be that loud - you can't have it both ways. Plus, they never shake the ground unless you are very, very close to them (in which case, again, they would be visible).
Finally, a fireworks grande finale that lasts for 90 minutes? Nope. Those were explosions, partially muffled... So now the question is: DUMB's and tunnels in that area? I'm not sure what else this could be.
I'm not saying it is or isn't. Quite a few comments on that particular video claim to be from the area and stated the case about fireworks.
Hard to prove shaking ground via cell phone footage, really.
And, you're not right on the 'have to be seen' with fireworks. Canada Day fireworks here in my city ; can't see them when they do them, can certainly hear them like they're next door though.
Again, I'm not saying it is, or isn't. Just pointing out the comments in the video.
fireworks sound exactly like that if you're far enough away that you can't see them.
I've been shooting fireworks as a hobby for 30 years, and part of that time i shot them professionally for 5 seasons.
i can name each effect as it goes off, i can even tell you without watching it when a consumer cake is going to shoot it's finale (important to know so you know when to hit your next cue)
what i heard in that video sounds EXACTLY like professional fireworks from about 10 blocks away.
the only thing that makes me think it could be something different is her claim of "this has been going on for hours"... but until i see some collaboration on that claim i'm calling bullshit.
on the video she says only 20 minutes.. which is exactly how long a good fireworks show lasts.
you can even hear the crackle effects going off after the break charges on some of the bigger shells.
this dumbdumb bitch took video of a fireworks finale going off that she couldn't see and got all worked up in her imagination and now she has all ya'll convinced WW3 has started.
The shills are desperate to debooonk this video. "I've been lighting off fireworks for over 100 years - ignore what you see and hear in the video and trust me instead".
I have a better idea. Many of us can hear the difference for ourselves in the video... so you can just fuck off.
her video said 20 minutes, and the very end of her video was the finale to the show... so if she was right... that makes the fireworks show 21 minutes long.
which is a typical length of time for a fireworks show.

A comment to the post, "It's awfully light out for fireworks to be going off."
This is true. Her post said started at 8:50 [assuming eastern time]. No one starts fireworks that early.
Usually starts at 9ish here on the east coast .. that sounded like a grand fanali
Niagra Falls cancelled all firework displays for 2021.

Fireworks shows usually don't last more than 20-30 minutes. They aren't cheap.

… do most people NOT have a huge fireworks display for National Cherry Tart Day?
