He’s right, that’s prepping 101 - keep your stored food hidden, don’t mention to your neighbors, when they run out and they know you have a supply it will be “hey man, you mind if I borrow some {food | water | ammo | guns }” At the start but then they will steal it if they have to kill you or not. Hungry people do desperate things. Don't advertise your assets. Now reverse your downvote.
