From the main list of posts, underneath each post is a series of links that allow you to reply, block, [whatever] to that post. One of those is "Hide". This one hides the post, but only for you, not for others who may wish to keep the post visible on their list. I called it a button, which is technically wrong, since it really a hyperlink. (I think...a different object.)
